It has now been exactly 15 days (Dec. 1st) since I mailed Gerber the "Bear Grylls Scout" for warranty replacement and/or repair. They received the package according to the USPS website tracking information on December 3rd. No e-mails. No phone calls. Nothing. According to their website the turnaround time is 3 to 4 weeks. Frankly that's acceptable, but at least letting you know that the package was in their possession would be nice. So we're still within their posted turn around time.

It always makes me wonder what companies think when they realize we are evaluating them publicly.
My Nephew left his knife in his pants and it got washed. I send it to Gerber Because it was mising parts. They replaced it with a new knife and sent it back. I never heard anything from them just got a package back in the mail
RE My Life Outdoors: Fortunately a lot of companies do watch the blogs and youtube channels in regards to quality control. When I received a bum Leatherman Super Tool 300 and was sent back another bum one...they e-mailed me and said they had been following my blog posts on the situation. Was the "Vice President of Quality Control" or something. Sent me a brand new one and apologized.
